The fourth-ranked University of Louisville volleyball team continued its dominant run, securing a fourth consecutive sweep with a 25-20, 25-16, 27-25 win over No. 19 Georgia Tech at the L&N Federal Credit Union Arena. With this victory, the Cardinals improved to 12-2 overall and 4-0 in ACC play.
The Cards displayed a strong offensive performance, hitting .280 as a team, with Charitie Luper and Anna DeBeer leading the charge with 15 and 12 kills, respectively. Hannah Sherman was a standout on defense, contributing to eight of Louisville’s 13 total blocks, while Nayelis Cabello dished out 22 assists and Elena Scott anchored the back row with 14 digs.
Georgia Tech struggled to find their rhythm, hitting just .064 with seven kills from both Bianca Bertolina and Larissa Mendes. Louisville’s relentless defense held the Yellow Jackets in check throughout the match.
